Adrift is a soulful musical journey through love, loss, identity, and the search for belonging. Blending jazz, folk, reggae, and bossa nova, the album offers a reflection on what it means to be "adrift"—not as something broken, but as a state of transformation. Inspired by Duane Forrest’s time on Pico Island in the Azores, where volcanic black vineyards, ocean winds, and solitude sparked deep introspection, Adrift invites listeners to consider that maybe we’re never truly lost—just changing.

Each track flows like a vignette in a larger story, exploring the ache of heartbreak, the joy of discovery, and the beauty of surrendering to the unknown. The album features performances by an international ensemble of musicians, adding rich textures and rhythms that carry the listener across borders and emotional landscapes.
